    Description

    Here is a very good lot of three
    ANTIQUE GRATERS.
    Two are for grating nutmeg. The round one
    has two grating surfaces-one side resembles that which
    is used for nutmeg. The other side is a little more coarse.
    There is a patent date of Aug. 6, '01 on it. The height
    including the handle is 7 1/2". The diameter of the base
    is 2 5/8".  The handle has become detached on one side
    as shown in Picture #11. Otherwise it is in very good
    condition as are the two smaller ones. There is a
    lid on the one with a compartment for a nutmeg. There
    is half  a nutmeg in it. ( I suspect quite old). Some put
    candles inside the round graters, I decided to try flowers.
