Lot 3 Antique Silk Sewing Accessories Thimble Holder Needle Book Pin Cushion
Item Description:
Here's a colorful little grouping of three early hand-made silk sewing items, likely dating from the late 1800s to very early 1900s. Included are a small 3-sided pinch purse thimble holder, with each side a different color - red, purple and beige. (note: the "nubs" you see on the cloth are part of the woven texture). There's also a small round silk needle book in blue, orange and brown silk, and also a cushioned pin keep with striped blue and white cloth on one side and maroon silk on the other.
Condition:
These are in excellent good condition overall, with one or two spots of very minor edge wear (see photos).
Size:
Approx. 2" diam. to 3" long (pinch purse).
