    This early 1900's cast iron & wood TAPLIN LIGHT RUNNING EGGBEATER measures approximately 3 1/4"w x 10 1/2"h...perfect for any country farmhouse or primitive kitchenware display!  Manufactured by the TAPLIN MANUFACTURING COMPANY, New Britain, Connecticut.  With dashers that are flat on the bottom, Taplin hand held beaters were advertised as "beats to the bottom of the bowl".  Firmly attached small wooden gear handle.  Wheel marked:  " LIGHT RUNNING/Pat. NOV. 24, 08" on one side and "THE TAPLIN MFG. CO./NEW BRITAIN CONN USA" on the other.  This gently used piece is clean and shows no dents, cracks, broken, missing or repaired parts.  Some minor expected age related surface/edge wear.  A GREAT addition to any VINTAGE TAPLIN LIGHT RUNNING EGGBEATER/HAND CRANK BEATER/CREAM WHIP/KITCHENWARE/PRIMITIVE DECORATING collection!  Buyer pays shipping costs.  Please check my other auctions for MORE interesting items!
