    Description

    For your consideration, I am very pleased to offer this fantastic early antique bell. This comes to you from my personal collection, and when I purchased it, I was told it was a ship's bell, but please be the judge. It is large and heavy weighing approximately 4.75 pounds. It has the best form with the handle being hand carved of wood and the bell being iron. The clacker is present and fully functional. Pictures don't do this early bell justice. It measures approximately 12 inches tall by 6 inches across the bottom. Please see all photos as it shows signs of age and loss, including a chip at the bottom and surface pitting. It is sturdy and stable. It comes to you ready for display from a smoke free home.
