    An Extremely RARE, Hand Thrown ,American Civil War Era, Decorated Stoneware Walking Woman Pitcher, seen in Her Best Winter Coat ,and Muff. The Base is Raised Footed, and She is Flawless ,but for a Tight Hairline Seen on the Lower Handle where it Joins the Body. If you get to Own this Incredible Piece of Historical Stoneware , Please never Pick it up by the Handle ,With Two Hands, use the Footed Base and Neck of the Woman. She is Wearing a Wonderful Scarf, that is The the Actual Handle. The Cork is Original to the Pitcher. This is a Well made , Highly Detailed ,Piece of American Stoneware, and I have never seen another like it. It has NO Restorations of any kind. It measures 11 1/2" high.
